To fulfill the passion and professionalism of basketball by doing it with heart.

In Hong Kong, where basketball was not very popular in the past, Coach Wong Jing was introduced to the sport during her school years, and without realizing it, she gradually formed a strong bond with basketball.

From elementary to middle school, Coach Wong Jing always just saw the boys in classplaying basketballFrom that moment, Coach Wang Jing thought that girls could also do well in this sport. Wang Jing invited female students in her class who loved basketball to join in, until she met her first coach in her middle school club, and gained a deeper understanding of basketball.

The convenience of the location allowed me to learn a few more tricks from the coach.

After joining the basketball club in middle school, Coach Wang Jing was introduced to relatively organized basketball.basketsBall TrainingAt the same time, she met the most important coach in her life, Coach Liang. Coach Leung brought these girls together who loved to play basketball, and developed and strengthened the areas that each of them was good at, or not so good at. This was particularly impressive to Coach Wang Jing at the time, and in the process of learning from Coach Leung, he planted his own imagination and blueprint for the future of basketball coaching.

"At that time, the school was very close to home, so when the other teammates went to organize their clothes, I would take the time to practice other things with the coach," she said. Coach Wang recalled that after every practice, everyone had to organize their things early, but since she lived close by, she spent that time practicing more basketball skills and concepts with Coach Liang.

Coach Wang also mentioned, "Although I was practicing in my spare time, Coach Liang still taught me everything, so I think I have to give 100% effort to repay the coach's dedication! I believe I can do it!

It is also because of this mentality that Coach Wang has laid the foundation for his future philosophy of leading the team and his insistence on the players' hard work and confidence.

After experiencing the youth team and college team, Coach Wang gradually found her piece of heaven in the field of basketball; "From the first contact with basketball coaching, I very much wanted to guide those less qualified players to find their ceiling", Coach Wang mentioned, "When you're a player, you may only need to be responsible for yourself, but when you're a coach, you need to find your direction and positioning for every team member. This is something that Coach Wang has continued to focus on throughout her coaching career.

Coach Wang shared, "Everyone has different talents, especially in basketball, which requires a lot of physical and mental fitness, so I think of it differently; if each player can maximize his or her strengths, then the team will be able to compete with others!
"

In this regard, Coach Wang has put a lot of effort into communicating with her players that even though their size disadvantages are magnified on the field, they should use this mindset to their advantage! Coach Wang also shared that although the team members are generally short in stature, they can increase their speed and use their agility and speed to play fast break; on defense, they can accurately judge the opponent's attack pattern, make a copy of the ball or team pressure, and think about the response of the offensive and defensive ends in a different way.

In the summer of 2010, Coach Wang brought the 7 Uppers Women's Basketball Team to Hualien, Taiwan, to play an exchange tournament. The unique fast-paced style of play in Taiwan was a brand new experience for Coach Wang at the time; "This kind of switching fast breaks and team pressure is something that we have never seen in Hong Kong before!
"Coach Wang recalled that the playing style of the Taiwanese team at that time made Coach Wang wonder if it was something that the future Seven Uppers could learn from.

Back in Hong Kong, Coach Wang gradually began to apply the characteristics of the style of play she had seen in Taiwan to the players of Seven Uppers, thus convincing these players that what they had was not a disadvantage, but a new, highly distinctive style of team play, which has made Seven Uppers Women's Basketball a perennial winner in the Hong Kong Division 1 Women's Basketball Championship!

Believe in yourself. The sky's the limit.

Now that more and more Hong Kong female basketball players are reaching for higher stages, Coach Wong lamented that the sport of basketball in Hong Kong has always relied on the support of a group of people who are very passionate about basketball, and this is even more so in the Division 1 competition, where it is not easy for people to come to the tournament when they have time to spare. Now that so many basketball fans have the opportunity to play in different places, Coach Wang also encourages those who are still on the road to basketball to believe in themselves, that there is always a chance to try, and to strive to let their passion for basketball become the nutrients for success.
